So I’ve started a blog.
You see I used to blog.
Before blogging was cool mind. Not that I stopped suddenly because people who might now appear in that ‘dickheads’ thing on you tube had started blogging. More that I couldn’t be arsed, had nothing to say and/or was saying it in songs.
So I’ve started another. Why? I’m not entirely sure. Something to do? Perhaps subconsciously there’s arrogance in blogging. That notion of self-perception, or delusion which convinces the author that their daily musings will be welcomed by the wider world. Their every word hung upon by an army of online devotees. Bollocks really.
Perhaps this is my secret motivation and I daren’t admit it to myself. The reason I’m sticking with for now is that I think too much and writing some of it down might create room in my brain for more leisurely pursuits like pro evo and shit!
So what will I write in my blogs? Fuck knows. I hope I won’t turn into one of those people who can’t enjoy a moment in time without the need to capture it for online posterity. You know the type; they’re familiar to you by now.

“Grab the flip camera quuuiiick”.
“Tweet 32 that song was emotional”.

ReplyDeletewell, I,for one have never read or followed a blog in my life, precisely because of your above reasons,'smile, you're on facebook' type thing. However, when i saw you had re started your blog i decided to take a look and as expected, you seem to have similar thoughts to me. all i can say is keep it real, if more people said what they meant and meant what they said I'm sure the world would be a far less confusing place to be in!
